Sean Kanov serves as Managing Director of the Company and is responsible for asset identification and investment strategy, capital market transactions, and oversight of the accounting, finance and operations departments. His professional healthcare real estate experience includes sophisticated transactional work as well as complex tax structuring. He spent twelve years as the Chief Financial Officer for Gazit Group USA, Inc., a U.S. subsidiary of Gazit Globe, Ltd. which is one of the largest owners, developers and operators of supermarket anchored shopping malls in the world. While at Gazit, Mr. Kanov spearheaded its healthcare platform including acquisition, financing and ultimate portfolio disposition of an approximately $600M medical office platform and its senior housing partnership with Royal Senior Care which grew in excess of 2,000 units at its height. Upon successful completion of the sale of the Medical office building platform, Mr. Kanov left Gazit and joined Royal full time.

Prior to joining Gazit, Mr. Kanov spent 11 years in public accounting where he was a Senior Manager at a regional accounting firm located in Downtown Miami, Florida. Mr. Kanov specialized in audit and tax compliance specifically in the fields of real estate and other professional service industries. His real estate experience extended both to the residential and commercial markets.

Mr. Kanov received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin and received his Masters of Science in Taxation from Florida International University in South Miami, Florida. Mr. Kanov is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Florida.
